Motorcycle Mechanics Institute The Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) motorcycle technology program provides the knowledge and skills you need to become a successful entry-level motorcycle mechanic. Motorcycle Mechanics Institute has two great locations in sunny Phoenix, Arizona and Orlando, Florida. Each MMI location offers a wealth of exciting places to explore and enjoy with people who share your passion for motorcycles. Motorcycle Mechanic Core ProgramThe 36-week core motorcycle mechanic program starts with the basics and teaches you everything you need to know about motorcycles. You'll learn about engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, engine troubleshooting, noise diagnosis, and (of course!) performance.
You'll learn how to use specialized diagnostic, repair, and maintenance equipment to work on lots of different bikes. You'll get the hang of dealership operations. And you'll learn the business skills you need to make your career as a motorcycle mechanic a long and successful one. At Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, they present information in a logical, step-by-step sequence. Through both hands-on training and classroom projects you’ll gain a solid understanding of motorcycle mechanics and technology, and a practical grasp of each motorcycle system.
Once you complete the core motorcycle mechanic program, you can choose to add manufacturer specific training elective programs from top bike manufacturers including Harley-Davidson® Late or Early Model Training, BMW MotorRad, Honda HonTech®, Kawasaki K-Tech Specialist, Suzuki Factory Authorized Suzuki Training (FAST), or Yamaha YamaPro®. These additional training programs let learn more about the metric bikes you love and make you even more sought after in the workforce. |
