Here you'll receive a wide range of automotive technology courses to train you for a rewarding career as an entry-level automotive technician with the added boost of NASCAR-specific courses and a Ford FACT elective that revs up your training and delivers a fast-paced, well-rounded course of study.

NASCAR Tech is located in Mooresville, North Carolina also known as Race City, USA. Just 30 miles north of Charlotte, Mooresville is home to more than 70 race teams. Right down the road you’ll find Lowe’s Motor Speedway, home of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup. You can catch IHRA drag racing at Mooresville Dragway and there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation, including golfing, boating, camping, hiking and fishing. You'll receive a wide range of automotive technology courses to train you for a rewarding career as an entry-level automotive technician and the addition of NASCAR Engines I & II will allow you to learn techniques for building and testing a competitive NASCAR engine.
Automotive & Nissan NATT Technology w/ NASCAR Engines I & II
Start your future with a rewarding career as an automotive technician and put more than half a century of racing heritage to work for you, along with the addition of the Nissan Advanced Technician Training (NATT) elective. You'll receive a wide range of automotive technology courses to train you for a rewarding career as an entry-level automotive technician. The addition of NASCAR Engines I & II will allow you to learn techniques for building and testing a competitive NASCAR engine, while the 9 week Nissan (NATT) elective curriculum will provide you with bumper to bumper training on Nissan/Infinity specific products, along with the opportunity to earn technician certification credit to help you reach the senior specialist level more quickly.
NASCAR Pit Crew Elective
Put more than half a century of racing heritage to work for you by adding the NASCAR Pit Crew elective to your training. You'll learn NASCAR rules, race-day preparation, equipment, and more. Not to mention your lab work will include performance as a pit crew member. |
