Wyotech Programs Overview

WyoTech Mechanic School

WyoTech, formerly known as Wyoming Technical Institute, is dedicated to superior quality, college-level, career-oriented education in the automotive, diesel, motorcycle, aviation, marine watercraft and collision/refinishing industries. Most WyoTech diploma programs can be completed in less than a year and a half. There are currently seven WyoTech campuses across the country.

WyoTech prepares students for the post-graduation working world by teaching on a workday, not a school day schedule. Most students attend classes approximately eight hours a day, five days a week.

WyoTech Automotive Mechanic Training Program

The WyoTech automotive mechanic training program trains you to become an professional automotive technician - understanding both the science and technology of today's modern automotive systems.

Learn from expert automotive technicians in the classroom, and then put your knowledge to work in the shop. Learn how to diagnose and repair everything under the hood. Train with modern tools and diagnostic equipment that would make even the most advanced auto repair shops green with envy.

WyoTech Aviation Mechanic Training Program

The WyoTech Aviation mechanic training program trains you to become an professional aviation mechanic - understanding both the science and technology of today's modern aircraft systems.

Learn how to maintain, inspect and repair all facets of aircraft technology including: engines, brakes, landing gear, electrical systems and more.

WyoTech's aviation technology program* is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration and can be completed in 16 months.

WyoTech Collision Refinishing Training Program

The WyoTech Collision Refinishing program trains you to become an professional collision/refinishing technician. Learn from master collision/refinishing technicians in the classroom, and then put your knowledge to work in the shop. Learn advanced techniques in metalworking, painting, detailing and more.

Students in the collision refinishing program can choose to specialize in one of the following:

Trim and Upholstery
Applied Service Management
Motor Sports Chassis Fabrication
Street Rod and Custom Fabrication

WyoTech Diesel Technician Training Program

The WyoTech Diesel technician program trains you to become an professional diesel technician - understanding both the science and technology of today's modern diesel systems on oil rigs, power plants, hydraulic systems, locomotives, cargo ships, farming equipment, construction vehicles, mining equipment, and diesel trucks.

Learn from expert automotive technicians in the classroom, and then put your knowledge to work in the shop. Get hands on experience with diesel engines from the top names in the diesel industry such as Cummins, Caterpillar, John Deere and more.

WyoTech Marine Mechanic Training

The WyoTech marine mechanic training program trains you to become an professional marine mechanic - understanding both the science and technology of today's modern marine watercraft systems.

Learn from expert marine technicians in the classroom, and then put your knowledge to work in the shop. Learn how to diagnose and repair propulsion systems, inboard engines, stern drive systems, and outboard marine engines.

WyoTech Motorcycle Mechanic Training Program

The WyoTech motorcycle mechanic training program trains you to become an professional motorcycle mechanic - understanding both the science and technology of today's modern motorcycle systems. Learn from expert motorcycle technicians in the classroom, and then put your knowledge to work in the shop.

The WyoTech Motorcycle mechanic program consists of eight core courses. You then have the option to choose to concentrate your area of study in Asian Motorcycles (Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda), European Motorcycles (BMW), or Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
